Big Sean Attacked By Fan At CD Signing Event

What is up with all this bad behavior towards celebs this weekend?!

First it was Aaron Carter being attacked on-stage during a concert in Illinois, and now it’s Big Sean, who was attacked and reportedly slapped in the face while signing a CD for a fan at an event in Queens, New York.

What the what?!

According to TMZ, the rapper was attacked by a man out of nowhere, although the altercation was apparently very short — Big Sean’s security, and then the cops, came and hauled the guy off very, very quickly before he could do any damage.

Big Sean himself quickly tweeted about the incident, relaying that he was sorry for the rest of the fans at his CD signing (it had to be cancelled), and taking issue with whether or not he was slapped.

Here is his tweet stream about the incident (below):

Look I never comment on this type of shit but they can’t do me dirty and say a fan smacked me or no shit like that.

the dude was released from a mental hospital last week, has a long record of mental illness n was off his meds. Very serious issues

He claimed he had wrote songs for Michael Jackson, Jay Z n was wit Birdman etc. I’m hoping he’s getting the proper treatment he needs.

And there you have it.

Seriously though — two musicians attacked in the same 12-hour period?! Obviously they are unrelated, but no less scary or unfortunate.

We’re just glad no one was more seriously injured, and we echo Big Sean’s sentiments about hoping this man gets whatever mental help he may need.
